Greetings from Dorset! Hopefully some MKARS members will remember me, from 1996-1999 when I was a member. I see Charlie Blake M0AIJ regularly down here, we are both members of the Poole Radio Society (of which I am Chairman for my sins and youthfulness hi hi).

Would be great to have contact with fellow amateurs from my 'old' QTH.

Nice to hear Dave G3ZPA the past couple of nights on 80m but not actually had a QSO yet via my W3EDP@25W

I seemed to have missed this post before. I've only been a member of MKARS less than a year, so have never met you Les. Back on Sunday 25th May I had been down to the Yeovil QRP Convention at Sherborne, then moved on to Weymouth and Portland. This was also the Marconi Day weekend. I was operating portable on 2M and 20M from Portland. Just before packing up I listened on 80M, and heard you in QSO testing a new antenna. You were running 25W, then dropped to 10W, this made negligible difference to your signal strength. I remembered this as I noted you were just up the coast from me, I was checking via qrz.com and the iPhone. I often travel down to the Dorset coast, but usually for my other hobby, photography. Kimmeridge bay is one of my favourite haunts.
