You might tempt me...

Need to figure out an antenna setup for the truck though. Would be nice if I could get a 4/2/70 and have it all in one antenna but I dare say they don't exist. Maybe I can mod a 6/2/70? I have to say I do like my MRQ750 (2/70) though, its a very awesome antenna I'd be loathed to downgrade from that. Maybe I should just stick a 4M magmount on the roof? Maybe all you lot should just get back on 2m ;)

A 4/2/70 cannot be that hard, because 4m is almost half 2m (within 1 or 2MHz), so there must be the option, and then 70 could work how it normally does on a 2/70 antenna.

It might be interesting to run a 2/70 whip through the analyser to see what the match is actually like on 4m...

That definitely sounds like a plan Andy. Maybe we can try mine off the truck next club night?

Would it be worth testing Fat Fred too? That would be a good antenna to use on 4m!

It would - although I can't see it working on 4m. But lets see.
